Process & Application Manager, to be hired in one of our sites in EMEA

The overall goal of the Application & Process Owner is to define, implement, and optimize our SMA Service applications and processes in order to increase customer satisfaction as well as efficiency. You are responsible for achieving the set process goals from the requirement to roll-out in our service functional area for the large-scale business. In addition, you ensure the continuous development of processes and applications and you are the contact person for process audits and measures. In this way, you will help to ensure operational operations in this segment in a responsible position.

This position is not bonded to be hired just in HQ in Germany. We are looking for fitting candidates in all our presences in EMEA: Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Spain, South Africa, and UK. This position reports directly to the Head of Global Service Operations and is part of a small global strategic team.

 

Your contribution to the big picture

 

  • You derive process goals from the strategic divisional goals and define key performance indicators for the corresponding business area.
  • You define, consolidate, and evaluate process requirements and ensure resource planning for implementation.
  • You coordinate with all relevant stakeholders globally and promote cross-process E2E cooperation in the company.
  • You are responsible for the technical review and approval of the relevant processes and applications and support or coordinate the introduction of process adaptation.
  • You monitor process performance based on key figures, analyses, and customer feedback and you initiate process optimizations.
  • You foster employee collaboration between different departments along the process string.
  • You are the contact person for other functional areas, e.g. Business Units, Operations or Finance and you are responsible for the process adaptation to ensure service product launches.
  • To ensure process quality, you will guide Process Managers and Application Owners, support their professional development, and coordinate or prioritize tasks in this context.

 

Your skills are in demand

 

  • You want to work in an international surrounding that gives you plenty of room for creativity and personal responsibility.
  • You have a university degree (Master's, Diploma) in the fields of economics/business administration, industrial engineering, or a comparable background.
  • You have many years of (international) professional experience in process management, ideally in a comparable position.
  • You have know-how in the management and control of cross-functional, global processes.
  • You speak English fluently, German at least basic, and you are happy to get involved in international cooperation.
  • You are familiar with the large-scale business area.
  • Your communication skills and your confident appearance helps you to solve even challenging situations in the context of process management with intuition.
