With our SMA Energy System, our customers can not only generate solar energy - we also provide solutions for optimally using/distributing the generated solar power throughout the home. Supplying household appliances with solar power, charging electric vehicles in a climate-neutral manner and controlling heating in a cost-optimized manner - with the SMA Energy System Home, this can be done fully automatically with 100% green power from the roof, if desired.

Your contribution to the big picture

•    You are responsible for the batteries in the SMA Home portfolio and are in charge of the SMA Home storage roadmap
•    Together with other product managers, you specify technically and economically balanced battery systems also with a view to the customer experience of a battery system
•    You work on the positioning of SMA storage systems and collaborate on the creation of marketing messages 
•    You work on projects for the development and qualification of storage systems
•    You will be the operational interface to battery manufacturers with a focus on coordinating battery designs and clarifying technical and economic issues
•    You process service tickets including escalation of service issues 
•    You conduct internal trainings

Your skills are needed

•    You have a successfully completed technical degree and several years of experience in product management
•    You have in-depth experience and knowledge of battery storage technologies as well as a strong technical understanding
•    You have a high level of customer orientation as well as a distinctive entrepreneurial way of thinking and acting
•    You have very good German and English skills
•    Your high level of social and communication skills, your team spirit and your ability to implement your ideas round off your profile
