Your contribution to the "big picture"
- You conduct market analyses of SCADA, control, measurement and monitoring solutions including applications, grid integration and peripheral systems
- Gathering market specifications defining solutions and driving the system from development to market implementation and testing of SCADA systems for renewable energy, battery storage and hydrogen applications is part of your responsibilities
- You support the sales department during the sales process, including presentation and preparation of technical documentation
- You define conceptual designs and solutions and drive the interface with the client and the subcontractor to support the concept from proposal till execution phase for remote and local operation of systems to meet utility requirements including standards for grid compliance and cybersecurity
- Working with engineers in the field to prepare for commissioning, including the development of logic and control schemes for remote and local operation of BESS to meet TSO standards, are also part of your job.
Your Qualifications are needed
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical, computer or industrial engineering with ideally focus on automation and controls
- Relevant Controls, Software or programming experience with renewable, utility or related industry
- Knowledge in SCADA protocols: Modbus & TCP/IP, PLC, IEC60870-5-101/103/104, IEC 61850 MMS, DNP3 and others SCADA protocols that one should be familiar with
- Understanding of Energy Management Systems, controls, monitoring and the electricity sector, ideally rounded with understanding of requirements from grid codes for operation of renewable power plants
