The Systems Engineering team contributes to the development, planning, execution and monitoring of systems in the technical areas of large-scale storage batteries and hydrogen (P2G). Their task is to accompany our projects technically from development to commissioning.

 

What you’ll be doing:

 

  • Commissionning: You manage the commissioning process and partially commission our on-grid and offgrid hybrid and storage projects and monitor the main components (inverter, SCADA and control systems, battery, balance of plant, metering, HVAC, fire suppression and electrical systems)
  • Cooperation: You cooperate with multiple project partners including for example customer site representative, grid operators, SMA Altenso project managers, project engineers, sub-contractors, suppliers, control systems teams or SCADA team
  • Planning: You develop and execute commissioning plans including resourcing and scheduling
  • Test and Testprotocols: You define and execute test protocols based on project requirements and you conduct Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) based on customer requirements

 

 

What you bring to the table:

 

  • Professional Experience: Experience with inverters, remote control and control technology protocols as well as in the field of construction, commissioning, project management, performance testing and troubleshooting
  • Network devices and settings: Experience with network devices and settings such as managed Ethernet switches and media converters
  • Degree: Degree in electrical engineering or comparable qualifications
  • Working method: Team-oriented, structured and independent way of working
  • Languages and travelling: Good knowledge of German and English and willingness to travel
