Description:
As a Power Markets Analyst, you’ll be the mastermind behind interpreting complex datasets, revealing the hidden narratives within global energy markets.

Your insights will guide strategic decisions, influencing how we allocate capital and shape our global strategy. With your sharp eye for detail and love for transforming data into action, you'll be at the forefront of making

energy decisions smarter and more impactful.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Unearth Hidden Patterns: Dive deep into data, spotting trends that others miss, and turning raw information into meaningful insights that shape the future of energy markets.
  • Craft Actionable Strategies: Develop innovative methodologies to help us make sense of complex data, creating strategies that fuel decisions and accelerate our growth.
  • Global Impact: Keep your finger on the pulse of the power sector, understanding not just the numbers, but the forces shaping the future of global energy.
  • Monitor & Report: Track industry shifts and translate them into clear, actionable recommendations that drive company strategy.
  • Collaborate Across Borders: Work with colleagues across the globe to bring together insights from various functions, ensuring that data is at the heart of strategic decisions.
  • Build Analytical Models: Create and maintain models that break down the market, helping us determine the right place to allocate resources.
  • Communicate with Clarity: Present your findings in visually compelling ways that make it easy for stakeholders to act on them. Whether it’s a dashboard or a presentation, you’ll make data come alive.

 

Qualification

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Data Analysis, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in database analysis or a similar analytical role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Python, R) and visualization platforms (Power BI, Tableau, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge: A passion for the power sector, with a strong understanding of market dynamics, emerging trends, and key stakeholders.
  • Analytical Mindset: You love solving problems and finding patterns in the numbers that can lead to strategic, actionable insights.
  • Communication Skills: The ability to communicate complex data simply and effectively to a variety of audiences.
